They could've had a few more things for leisure activities, such as a foosball table, billiards or a selection of movies to watch in the lounge room.
The location is just fantastic. It just 5 mins away from keleti railway station. It's a small cost hostel with a great staffer.
This is a very nice hostel in good location. The staff was really nice and helpful, rooms comfortable, bathroom clean. Several common spaces and kitchens available. Too bad I couldn't stay longer.
This place is not a hotel,so don't expect one. It's also not a super party hostel. What it is,is a wonderful, clean, and friendly hostel. And close to the train station to boot! It's affordable, and the staff are beyond helpful. They made my stay there amazing. I loved them. The showers were great. The beds were comfy. It has a gate that locks the property for security. It is just a great place to lay your head. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and great memories.
Me and my friend stayed here for 10 days during the sziget festival; the apartment consists of one main bedroom which has 4 bunk beds and a couple of other rooms which i think are private doubles. The main downfall of this place is that there is only one bathroom which is a nightmare in the mornings especially if you need to use the toilet. The staff consisted of two guys called Milan and George who were very friendly and easy going, there was also a cleaner who kept the place tidy and cleaned up every day. This place is more like staying in your mate's flat than a hostel, as far as atmosphere goes it pretty non-existant coz there's usually someone sleeping off their hangover in the main bedroom during the day. There's no air conditioning so be prepared to listen to cars beeping from the main road near by, the best thing they could do to this place is to put a second shower room into the current bathroom which would easily accommodate one! Overall i would probably have preferred to spend a little bit more and have more of a hostel experience but if you're travelling on a budget then this place is certainly worth checking out!
The staff was fantastic and helpful in guiding visitors throughout the city. The facilities are good and relatively clean. It is a good prices for what is offered.
We booked a 4 bed apartment. We got to the hostel and were moved to an apartment elsewhere in the city. The apartment was in good condition and very good value for money, a little walk into town was not really a problem.
This was a brilliant hostel to stay in and contributed to my new found love of Budapest. We had a private room and thus felt had a little more security, the facilities were basic but good well maintained. Bathroom could do with a good clean a little more frequently but other than that it was perfect. George and Milan were top guys, location was brilliant. Very close to bars restaurants and walking distance to all major attractions and public transport stops for the lazy folk.
May be its a good idea to let people know that they will be accommodated in a house rather than a dorm if its done on a permanent basis. For a group of 5, staying in a house near to the city center was a very pleasant experience. Well worth the money and a very friendly staff too !
